Frequently Asked Questions
What can Chiropractic help with?
Chiropractic care may help people experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns, including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, arthritis, whiplash, sprains and strains, and overuse-related injuries. Some people also seek chiropractic care to support issues such as low energy levels or poor sleep.
We provide paediatric chiropractic care to support healthy nervous system function in children, and many pregnant women choose chiropractic care to help manage pregnancy-related aches and discomfort naturally.
It’s important to understand that chiropractic care does not cure conditions. Rather, by addressing areas of spinal and nervous system stress, chiropractic aims to support the body’s ability to function optimally, which may be associated with an improvement in symptoms.
Is Chiropractic safe for my child?
Chiropractic care for infants and young children uses gentle, low-force techniques that are very different from those used for adults. Chiropractic care is commonly accessed by families, with over one million paediatric chiropractic visits across Australia each year, reflecting its widespread use within the community.
Is Chiropractic covered by medicare?
To access Medicare rebates, you’ll need to speak with your GP about the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan to confirm eligibility. If approved, your doctor can refer you for up to five chiropractic visits per calendar year.
Is Chiropractic covered by health insurance?
Yes. We accept all health insurance.
Is it ok to see a chiropractor when pregnant?
Yes. We care for women throughout all stages of pregnancy, as well as post-birth. Our chiropractic techniques are always modified to suit pregnancy and postnatal care, with a focus on comfort, safety, and supporting the body through these physical changes. Many people choose chiropractic care during these stages to support overall spinal and nervous system function.
